Identity theft is one of the fastest growing crimes facing us today. Recently, we have been updated that consumers are receiving fake alerts from fraudsters acting as financial institutions, stating that they have been locked out of their account and they must provide personal information to be unlocked. Please know Pioneer Valley Credit Union will never contact you via email or text message requesting you to provide your personal information (social security or driver's license number, date of birth, etc.). If you should receive any of these types of alerts do not give out any information and contact your financial institution directly. For more information please contact us at 413-733-2800.
